Veteran's Day Parade: Monday, Nov. 11 @9am
Calling ALL Veterans in Rome and surrounding NW Georgia to come out and be a part of the Veteran's Day Parade, Monday Nov. 11 at 9am.
Lets Be Friends Community is pleased to honor and to participate in the Rome. Georgia Veteran's Day Parade.
It begins on Broad Street at Synovus bank and ends at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. After the parade, we are providing coffee, donuts and hugs to THANK YOU to all our Veterans who fought for our freedom and peace we are enjoying today!
If you are a military personnel. active, retired or veteran or supporters of Veterans are encouraged to wear either their uniform or some descriptive clothing; i.e. hats. shirts etc. walk or ride with us .
Let us know if you like to volunteer to walk or ride with us .

WHEN: DOORS OPEN at 4:00pm
WHERE: Rome Library.
THEME: FRIENDSGIVING FEAST : We are grateful and thankful for FRIENDS in our community and the new friendships cultivated this year.
Come join our community's "THANKSGIVING FEAST" and meet and mingle with old and new friends.
Bring a side dish if you can.
Guests need not to bring any dish but do bring your friendly smile and be open to meet new friends.
DEC. 4th - "Christmas with Friends" Theme
WHEN: DOORS OPEN at 4:00pm
WHERE: Rome Library.
THEME:Come celebrate a meaningful Christmas Season with us. Come Holiday dressed for a group as well as individual Holiday picture. Share the JOY of Christmas with friends and family.
